About Us

Over twenty five years ago, David Martine started his business, now known as Treescapes and BigWave Pools, with only a mower and a dream. A student at Wichita State University at the time, David was determined to pave his own way. It wasn’t long before his business evolved into the full-time maintenance and construction company it is today with nearly 40 craftsmen.  

David attributes his success and strong work ethic to his father, Dick Martine, as they worked together for many years as father and son when David was a teenager in his father’s rentals.

Today, David is able to combine his passion for hard work and the outdoors in his custom pool/landscape business.

David Martine grew up in the Wichita area and is a father of two children, Tyler and Mackenzie. Tyler is currently a part of the crew at Treescapes. David’s brother Steve is a seasoned foreman for a crew, and has been working here for several years, and David’s partner Shelly helps out as well. We really are a family business, and hope to make your family a part of ours!
