Brinx’s
Backyard Blog
🐾 Welcome to Brinx’s Backyard Blog! 🐾
Hi, I’m Brinx! I’m a two year old Aussie Doodle Mini, and if we’re meeting for the first time—nice to sniff you! 🐶 I’ve got one bright blue eye and one warm brown eye, so you could say I see the world in my own colorful way. My tail? Well, let’s just say the fluffy white tip looks so much like a cotton ball that people sometimes try to boop it.
This blog is my backyard journal—a place where I’ll share my favorite discoveries, tips for enjoying the outdoors, and maybe a few behind-the-scenes peeks of life at Treescapes & BigWave Pools. Whether I’m curled up on the patio, chasing leaves, or checking out the newest backyard trends, I’ll be your guide to all things cozy, fun, and outdoor-living approved.
Oh, and when I’m not blogging, you can find me hard at work in the office—my hours are 8 to 5, Monday through Friday. 🐾 Come by and see me; I’m always up for belly rubs and new friends!

I've been conducting a very scientific experiment this week. Every time the sun comes out, I move to another shady spot. Results? Shade wins every time.
July 27 - The Best Backyards Aren't About the Backyard
The best outdoor spaces aren't necessarily the biggest or the most expensive—they're the ones that bring people together. July 20 - Summer Storms: What Every Kansas Homeowner Should Check
After every significant storm, it's worth taking a slow walk around your property. Look for standing water that doesn't drain away after a day, mulch that has washed out of flower beds, leaning trees, broken branches, or areas where soil has begun to erode.
July 13 - Why July Is the Perfect Time to Start Planning for Fall
